1991 - ProLife starts its activities as a technical assistance office, specialized in repairing medical equipment for the cardiology, anesthesia and intensive care fields. The services are offered for hospitals and clinics in the city of São Paulo.
1995 - Besides the technical assistance activity, the company starts to provide solutions in medical equipment. The first commercialized machines were the vital signs monitors, used in ICUs and surgery centers, from Criticare Systems USA (www.csiusa.com). The highlight was the “Anesthetic Agents Monitor” that provided an increased safety in the administration of anesthesia gases.
1996 - The products sales expanded outside of São Paulo, through the selection and training of a specialized team in many important Brazilian cities. The result was the creation of the company’s representative network.
1998 - Prolife established a partnership with Physio-Control (www.physiocontrol.com), the inventors of the continuous current defibrillator and manufacturer of the reputed Lifepak, one of the most prestigious companies in the field.
1999 - In one of many participations in congresses, expositions and factories in different countries, we sealed a distribution partnership in Germany with the company Ambu A/S (www.ambu.com), the creators of the world-renowned manual resuscitators and mannequins for cardiopulmonary resuscitation training.
2001 - Aiming for excellence in all of its activities, ProLife received the ISO 9001:1994 certificate and incorporated some products for cardiology diagnosis, such as electrocardiographs and Holters from the Italian brand Cardioline (www.cardioline.com).
2004 - Change in the address, moving from a 240m² to a 600m² property. With the modernization of the installations and the partnerships consolidation, between other factors, we doubled our revenues.
2006 - Because of big changes caused by globalization with processes of merge & acquire happening all the time, the uncertainties of an operation without the possession of the technology used in the products brought great risk to the business. This contributed to the development of own products and substitution of the imports.
2007 - Definition of the factory location (Pouso Alegre – MG) and renovation of the local to meet agency requirements.
2008 - Authorization from ANVISA as a medical equipment manufacturer in Brazil.
2009 - Expansion of the activities, starting the production of vital signs monitors in Pouso Alegre.
2012 - Start of the production of MD Series cardioverters, product with German technology from Primedic.
2015 - T-Series launch, a family of vital signs monitors with hybrid configuration.
